Hypnotherapy Q&As

Is hypnotherapy safe, and are there side effects?

Hypnosis is a natural, calm and relaxing state. You hear everything, you remain yourself, and you can open your eyes and end the session whenever you choose.

What it feels like afterwards

Most people describe hypnosis as the most relaxed they've felt in a long while, and leave feeling lighter and clearer. You remember the session, and it feels surprisingly ordinary.

If you arrive very tired and drift off for a moment, it does no harm, and Tim gently brings you back.

Planned around you

At the free consultation Tim asks about your health and what's going on in your life, so your sessions are planned around you. If you take medication, keep taking it as prescribed: Tim is happy to work alongside your GP, counsellor or medical team.

Sessions are confidential and notes are kept securely.
