Deposit & Cancellation Policy

At time of booking a non-refundable deposit will be asked to secure your appointment. This demonstrates your commitment to therapy and allows us to reserve your room. On receipt of deposit we will issue a full booking confirmation by email. The booking confirmation includes a self-hypnosis session for you to listen to before we meet and is yours to keep.

We use Square and PayPal to take deposits and other payments. Your card details may be held securely at either of our PCI compliant payment processors and payments may be preapproved. Advanced Hypnotherapy Ltd does not store your card details in any form on any media.

Our therapists have a limited amount of time to offer to clients and so this time is valuable. Once a booking is made the allocated time will not be offered to other clients. If a client does not attend an appointment or if cancellation is made without providing sufficient time for the therapist to fill the vacant timeslot then the therapist’s time will be wasted. This costs the therapist financially not just in time but also in the allocation of room fees.

Our therapists are protected by the following cancellation policy.

You must give a minimum of 72 hours’ notice (excluding weekends) if you want to rearrange or cancel your appointment without incurring additional charges. If this is your first appointment, then your deposit will be carried over to the new appointment. If you wish to cancel therapy completely and provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice, then you will simply lose your non-refundable deposit and no further charges will be incurred.

If you provide 24-72 hours’ notice (excluding weekends) of your requirement to cancel or rearrange your appointment, then we will endeavour to fill the vacant timeslot and you will not be charged. If we are unable to fill the vacant timeslot then we reserve the right to charge 50% of the fees due for the appointment.

If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or simply don’t attend your appointment, then we reserve the right to charge you the fees due for your appointment in full.

Please bear in mind that these terms are designed to motivate clients to attend therapy and protect therapists from financial loss. However, we will always endeavour to be fair and understanding of individual circumstances.

Outstanding payments will either be taken by pre-approved card payment, card held on file or invoiced for immediate payment.
